They also wanted to automate their multiple processes and customer touch points through Salesforce CRM.

Our Approach

Our approach was to first carefully analyze their current processes and systems. Once our research was concluded, the biggest challenge for UIB was its existing CRM, due to its data intense UI it was not user friendly and the Sales Team was finding it hard to operate on it. This had further resulted in lower adoption of the existing system, with many sales processes happening outside of it. Furthermore, they were finding it extremely difficult to maintain previous client portfolios resulting in them missing out on follow-ups for renewal of their policies.

We then shared our findings with the management team at UIB Insurance that they need a system which is less data intense, more user friendly and is intuitive. They realized the challenges they were facing and what they needed to do to stay competitive in the market.

They wanted Salesforce CRM to be integrated with their current systems at the earliest and briefed us on what they expected out of their CRM integration.

Our Strategy

We deep dived into client’s most painful areas and accordingly devised the best approach.

And solutions which would be useful in their daily activities and would also track all data and reporting into their system. We divided the entire project into multiple sprints focusing on one key area per sprint, so that the users can get quickly on the system and system adoption starts increasing. We started with the Calling Team, Followed by Relationship Managers, Underwriting Team and finally the Claims Dept.

We decided to implement the Agile methodology in which we collected project requirements and then further delivered projects on sprint basis and aligned a proper delivery team. We covered all risks involved in the project implementation and communicated them to the management team at UIB, who received them well and gave us ago ahead. We also created proper user training sessions with user manual and admin training through which the client team could easily manage their daily activities.

Results

We took 6 months to successfully implement all of UIB Insurance processes onto the Salesforce CRM, which is matching as per client expectations. Our dashboard has enabled UIB to effectively manage customer portfolios, policies and various insurance related activities and opportunities with the effective use of WhatsApp and SMS integration.

UIB can also effectively oversee and execute various activities pertaining to quote management, quote comparison and policy underwriting.

Claims modules has been given a huge boost with tracking of various claims and their status, filing of claims and disbursement tracking are being managed much more effectively.

UIB Insurance’s performance has increased considerably since Salesforce implementation. System Adoption amongst the Sales Team has risen exponentially, this has led to the management having a better clarity and vision when it comes to pipelines and deals.

The business owners can now easily figure out improvement areas, where exactly they are lacking thanks to accurate report being generated.

The client has been more than happy and has praised us for successfully developing and deploying Salesforce CRM solutions much before than the expected deadline.
