Business Analyst cum Project Manager – Salesforce

Salesforce Functional & Solution Ownership

  • Act as the functional owner of Salesforce platform across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
  • Design scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business processes and long-term roadmap.
  • Configure Salesforce using:
    • Objects, Fields, Page Layouts, Record Types
    • Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes
    • Security Model, Roles, Profiles & Sharing Rules
  • Define and review Reports & Dashboards for leadership visibility and decision making.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, APIs, and data migration strategies.
  • Ensure platform scalability, data integrity, and best practices adoption.

Business Analysis & Requirement Management

  • Conduct stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions and process deep dives.
  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements into:
    • BRD / FRD
    • User Stories & Acceptance Criteria
    • Process flows & Wireframes
  • Perform gap analysis between current processes and Salesforce capabilities.
  • Translate business needs into functional Salesforce solutions.
  • Act as the bridge between business users and technical teams.
  • Define and manage UAT strategy, test scenarios and sign-off process.

End-to-End Project Delivery

  • Manage full lifecycle of Salesforce projects from initiation → delivery → hypercare.
  • Create and manage:
    • Project plans, timelines and milestones
    • Sprint plans and backlog prioritization
  • Drive Agile ceremonies:
    • Sprint planning
    • Daily stand-ups
    • Sprint reviews & retrospectives
  • Ensure delivery within scope, timeline and budget.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business and leadership stakeholders.
  • Provide project status, dashboards and executive updates.
  • Manage cross-functional coordination between:
    • Sales, Marketing, Service teams
    • IT & external vendors
  • Drive decision making and resolve blockers quickly.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
  • Ensure solution quality through testing, reviews and governance.
  • Manage change requests and scope control.
  • Lead training, adoption and change management initiatives.
  • Use JIRA & Confluence for backlog and documentation management.
  • Work across Agile / Scrum / Waterfall delivery models.
  • Use MS Project, Excel, and Visio for planning and reporting.
