Hottest Salesforce Summer ’22 Features: Things to Note
Summer is here once again, and so is Salesforce with another round of updates. This means a whole bunch of new functionalities and features in the hand of the user. New releases are always a time for hype. They bring excitement to both users and developers. The UI improvements are especially appreciated. That being said, let’s dive into some of the hottest Salesforce release features in the summer of 22. Be sure to take note of the things that can help you out.
This new salesforce feature makes it easier than ever to have intimate appointments with the employees. All that needs to be done is to switch on the Resource Appointment Sharing in Lightning, and it will be done. This also removes the constant need for reconfiguration, as employees can manage their appointments after they’ve been approved to do so.
There are also some other features. The lightning tab has been improved, and now Event management and multiple attendee event settings are here. This is a huge relief from the previous way of making an event classic and adding attendees there. Now, users can do that in Lightning and view it instantly.
Service employees can also set recurring absences in their calendar now, and the view of the schedule can be changed to see things like holidays, shifts, etc. And to add to it all, you can now edit, create or clone a shift and pick a time zone.
Health cloud is getting more than 10 updates in this round. All of this is to empower care providers so they can treat their patients more closely. While it’d be difficult to list all of these new Salesforce features, we’ll just talk about a few of them here.
Medication management dashboard: This is one of the two new dashboards that are being added. It gives the user insight into the medication adherence pattern of the patient, health conditions, and medication distribution detail.
Medication analysis embedded dashboard: this dashboard allows for easy and fast comparison of medication and care plans of patients with similar health conditions.
Timeline: This feature is brought to promote holistic care of the patient. Filing and finding multiple forms that are needed to prepare for an appointment is stressful and time-consuming. The timeline will now allow both the patients and the practitioners a single source for truth. It will show the key events that happened in a patient’s medical history in chronological order on a timeline.
Einstein will benefit from the addition of a new salesforce feature in the form of a search manager that will make things more efficient and save time. This is one of the key values of Salesforce. Doing an update to cover this aspect was certainly coming. To use this, users will need to go to the search manager in setup. There it will sort out and filter your search result from all the searchable objects.
In the Lightning Salesforce Knowledge Articles, the Natural Language Search (NLS) will also be enabled in this update. NLS uses the Einstein search to predict how data might be used in a search by going through your salesforce knowledge base. It can aptly be described as a knowledge article genie. NLS also gives results as per your search keyword in the search bar and presents a list of opposite articles.
Financial Services Cloud
This service got a huge update, too, with several noteworthy enhancements to support bankers and financiers. To clear any future confusion, an account to a salesforce administrator means a business or a person. Now that being said, let’s see what features were added.
Financial Accounts and Transactions
The new salesforce feature of Account Overview was added to the Account page layout. Since switching between multiple screens to look at different accounts is such a hassle, this feature aims to rectify that. Not only does this provide you with an easy-to-read and feast overview of all accounts under your management, but you can also use Thai information to spot opportunities. For instance, it can look up people whose certificates of deposits are about to reach maturity. The sales team can then reach out and discuss ways to retain the customer.
Actionable Relationship Center
The ARC was an already beloved salesforce feature. It provided a 360-degree view of customer relationships. However, with the update, the administrator can now show relevant customer information to the user based on their profile. It will also allow you to create graphs with custom or standard objects.
Further, you will be able to customize graph node objects, names, display fields, and record action buttons inside them. This will allow easy ability to edit, view, or create new records while meeting with customers. Moreover, partner users will be able to view and interact with client data in real-time through the display of your ARC relationship graphs on the Experience Cloud page.
Custom Address Field
A customer address field has been added, and it has truly been a godsend. While it is still in its Beta phase, many people have long wanted a customer address field that worked in a way similar to the standard address field. As of now, this field will only work after you have the state and country picklist configured first.
Salesforce is constantly striving to improve upon itself. And that can be seen with every update that comes through.
